Moorestown High School hosted its annual boys' Invitational Volleyball Tournament over the weekend and it was termed an overwhleming success by Quakers' head coach and tournament director Scott Atkinson.

Twenty teams, most of them from South Jersey, began play at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, and, when all was said and done, Collinsgwood defeated Kingsway for the Black Pool title and Sterling toppled West Windsor-Plainsboro South in the Gold Pool Championship match.

The tournament all-stars were Ujjwal Tamhankar (Cherry Hill West), Patrick Howell (Honeywell Valley), Jeff Nelson (Moorestown), Max Mahoney (Ridge) and Erik Egan (Sterling). West Windsor-Plainsboro South's Andrew Chen was selected as the best libero and the Most Valuable Player was Avian Ash Garlapati, also from West Windsor-Plainsboro South
